Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Niom platform operated by Niom AI Limited, a company registered in Abu Dhabi, UAE ("Niom", "we"). By creating an account, you accept these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must use a valid work email to register as a Client. Personal email providers (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, iCloud, Outlook, Proton, AOL) are not accepted. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

Niom Profiles are provided for your internal hiring use. You agree not to:

  • Share Profiles or their contents with anyone outside your organisation.
  • Resell, redistribute, or scrape data from the platform.
  • Use the platform to harass, mislead, or harm any individual listed in a Profile.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, payment, or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

3. Subscription, billing, and renewal

The paid plan is USD 750 per year, billed at sign-up by Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew annually unless you cancel before the renewal date through your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — no partial refunds.

4. Content and intellectual property

Profile content is owned by Niom and the relevant Product Managers and is provided under licence to you for internal hiring purposes. The Niom name, logo, and platform are owned by Niom AI Limited.

5. Disclaimer

Profiles reflect information collected from candidates at a point in time. Niom does not warrant the completeness or current accuracy of any Profile and is not a recruiter, employment agency, or party to any employment relationship that results from your use of the platform.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Niom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to Niom in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Abu Dhabi.
